Tickets for The Green Man 2009 are available now from Ticketline
We are offering some new ticket options this year (based on feedback from last year’s festival survey), and you can now buy reduced priced student and teenage tickets.
In addition to this and for the many of you who are planning a holiday in Wales we are pleased to be able to offer a Holiday Ticket. By purchasing a Holiday Ticket which is only £30.00 as well as your festival ticket, you will be entitled to arrive on Monday 17th August and have three more days of camping in the beautiful Glanusk Estate and explore the surrounding Brecon Beacons, and experience all the wonderful scenery and leisure facilities. Combining a Holiday Ticket with a Festival Ticket will give you a full week in Wales.
We all want to reduce the environmental impact of the festival and one of the main ways we can do this is to reduce the amount of cars turning up. So this year we are introducing car park tickets for cars which have 1 or 2 passengers, (if there are more of you, you park free). Tickets cost £5 each (more on the door) and we are reinvesting the money into providing free shuttle busses from Abergavenny Station.
We have also teamed up with The Big Green Coach who are offering coaches to the festival from around the country. This is a great way to travel to the festival, as well as not having the hassle or the ecological impact of driving, with 48 other really excited people, the festival atmosphere starts the moment you get onboard.
The camper’s dream that is Tangerine Fields is back again for Green Man 2009. So leave your camping gear at home and start the party early. Book a ready-pitched and fully equipped tent. Choose from 2, 4 and 6 man tents and all the kit you need to camp – from sleeping bags to stoves. Visit Tangerine Fields for more information and bookings.
The following tickets are available.
Adult: £115
Student: £99
For full-time students only. Valid NUS or ISIC ID required at the box office - no other student ID accepted.
Teen (13 to 17 years old): £50 (must be accompanied by an adult)
Children (Aged 12 years and under) can come for fee, no ticket required.
Holiday Ticket: £30
This allows you to camp at Glanusk Park from Monday 17th August for 3 days before the festival opens. However you must have purchased a festival ticket to take advantage of this offer.
Live-in vehicle ticket: £45 (per vehicle for the weekend)
Live-in vehicles include; camper vans, caravans, trailer tents, tipis/teepees, yurts, motor homes and any structures that cannot be carried onto the campsite. One tent per live-vehicle is permitted in the Live-In Vehicle field. You do not require a car-park ticket if you have a live-in vehicle.
Car park ticket: £5 in advance, more on the gate (only needed if 2 or less passengers)
For cheque orders: Please add £2 booking fee for each ticket, apart from Car Park which are charged at £1 each.
