lift from Oxford

Would anybody be interested in a lift from Oxford, or somewhere on the way from Oxford to the festival? I have space for 1 or 2, maybe 3 depending on luggage. Or alternatively if anyone going from Oxford has room for 1 more I'm happy to contibute towards the fuel costs.

Have you received any takers for you offer of a lift from the Oxford area yet.
Im trying to find a lift to and from the festival from the Portsmouth area, know its a few miles away however I can get to Reading easily enough and think Oxford is not far
Just a thought

No, you are the first to reply! Reading is about half an hour away from Oxford on the train if you get a fast one. It's a fairly regular service. Although, if you have to get a train from Portsmouth to Oxford are you sure that would work out for you financially? I'm not very good at estimating these things, but I expect fuel will be about 15 pounds each way, shared between passengers. I'll be very happy to take you though if you think it's a good deal. I can pick you up at the train station. I am planning on leaving on Thursday, aiming to get there before dark and coming back on Monday - hopefully getting away before midday.

Hi Dinah
I'm looking for a lift for myself and two others from Oxford if there's still spaces left? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plans for getting to the festival were somewhat halted after I crashed my car the other week.

I've had no other definite replies so that should be fine. We should be ok for luggage space provided you're not bringing an 8 man tent or anything like that! I'm planning on leaving on Thursday afternoon and coming back on Monday - does that suit you?

I live in east Oxford - how about you? This is my second Green Man - I went last year and I loved it. I'm meeting a friend there on the Friday. Do you want to give me your email address and we can make a plan?
