Hi
We are two people going from east London to the festival. we'd like to travel down friday morning and return late sunday or monday. We would love a lift and will of course split petrol costs with any takers.

I'm going to greenman with a friend leaving from east london (dalston) on friday morning. I've been on the look out for a lift but it looks like I'm one of many. One option could be for me to rent a car for the weekend and share the cost with the other 3 people. Obviously this would be more expensive than just paying a share of the petrol but I'm pretty sure it would work out less than a return train fare which is looking like my only other option at the moment.
Anyway, let me know if you're interested.

Hi both,
Obviously Tamsin has first refusal on this, but I'm also in a couple who had a lift lined up until this morning (car trouble) and are now looking for a new lift from anywhere in London Thursday night/Friday morning.
Tamsin, if you don't need/want this offer anymore, I think we might be interested.
Car rental at the cheapest end seems to be about £80, I reckon the petrol will be about £60 in total, plus the bridge toll of £5, so that would make £145 which is only £29 each if five people go.
Let me know what you both think anyway.

Managed to get ourselves fairly cheap train tickets by getting four singles, so no longer need lift - just to let you know!

Thought I'd throw my hat in the ring.
Two guys leaving from Angel on Friday morning... returning Sunday/Monday. Does this fit with anyone? Please! Petrol costs and a drink or two a given.

if anyone wants to share a lift with 2 people npt much stuff let me know!
we dont have a car - live in hackney / dalston too but dont mind where pick up in north/ east / central london.
may poss also have ticket for sale or in xchange for a lift!
coming back sunday but not essential for alift there

Hi all,
Tamsin has first refusal on this, but if you have got your lift sorted then it's open to all.
I'm heading down on Friday morning from Stoke Newington/Dalston.
I can offer a lift down but probably not back, but only to one person who doesn't have much luggage (I don't have much of a boot).
