Family parking
Jul 07, 2008, 11:17
Hello - we came along to the Green Man last year with our children who were 3 and 1 at the time. We found it really difficult to get from the car parks to the camping with two kids and family tent and associated stuff that you need with kids - it was such a long way!

We parked in the normal parking last year - I wanted to find out if there is family parking that is a bit closer to the camping and also when you recommend getting there to get a good camping spot - think we were a bit late last year.

Thanks - really looking forward to it!

We also came with 2 kids (also 3 and 1) and parked in the family car park. We arrived on Thursday which meant we got a space quite close to the camp site (less than 5 minutes walk - more when carrying a ridiculous amount of kit on your back). Long before you get to Glanusk Park there were signs for family and general parking - we followed the former. Getting there on Thursday was a good idea too - the kids got a chance to get used to the site before the rains came!

From what I gather the parking for Green Man is pretty good compared to other festivals where you have a huge walk to the site.
