I have a 2yr old (just) and a 1yr old. Any advice to a Greenman-newbie? x

Lizzie, see my post above on bringing kids. We went to GM last year (our first festival since having kids) ans it was fine. Our youngest was then 18 months and he had a whale of a time. My word of warning would be - don't expect to see all the stuff you want to see, it won't tie in with what the children want to do. Our little boy still needed his afternoon sleep (in the tent) and the going to bed process in the evening took rather longer than at home! Then of course someone has to stay behind - at least this year we're going with friends who have similarly aged children so child-care duties will be more widely shared.

We've been the last couple of years and found it fine.
Our daughters are 5 1/2 and 2 1/2 now, so they were pretty young the first time we went!!
I would say just take plenty of food etc. for the kids but don't worry too much about feeding yourself, the food on offer is pretty good. We took loads of stuff the first year, thinking we had to try and jusrt survive the weekend, but it was so easy we brought over half our food back home.
Realx, enjoy the scenery and listen to the music - the kids will love it!
