Raconteurs, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave, Sufjan Stevens, Decemberists, Mercury Rev

Mark Lanegan's touring with Greg Dulli as the Gutter Twins - unmissable I'd say, Sufjan's a mate of T' National, Decemberists/Colin Meloy are rather good, Mercury Rev are playing End of the Road so I'm sure could "fill in"/run circles round Beirut. And Nick's promoting the marvellous Lazarus. And what about Jack and Brendon, how great would that be?

The line up writes itself.

I'd go to the bar while the Raconteurs were on but I'd be at the front for the rest of it! Sufjan Stevens would be brilliant.

Well, the Gutter Twins are playing Shepherds Bush Empire on Aug 13th, which strongly suggests they'll be wending their way to Glanusk Park the following weekend. Their album "Saturnalia" is truly excellent :-)
