Would be lovely at the Green Man I reckon.
She's just been touring playing solo and, from the bits that I've heard, stripped back to their basics, her songs are incredibly beautiful.
Check here for proof :)

How can a venue as beautiful as this not include Lou? Yes, yes, yes. Lou would be a great substitute for Beirut, HINT!
And yep, that youtube clip is great. As were her shows in various Borders stores last year......
We Want Lou..............

Yay for Lou!!
I'm suprised she's never played actually, I reckon she'd go down a storm.
There are some other great youtube clips from her tour if you hunt around - including an amazing version of the Lamb track Gabriel, using her voice and a loop pedal - incredible stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3a3GLzBUtw
Just noticed that she's about to play a few dates, following on from the Folk Britannia thing and the Barbican last year(?).
From the Birmingham Symphony Hall blurb:
"Exploring the rich tradition of English female song and singers, the Festival presents the celebrated sounds of Daughters of Albion at Symphony Hall (27 Apr). Promising a night of dark wit interwoven with melancholy and passion, and featuring the talents of Norma Waterson, June Tabor, Kathryn Williams, Bishi, Lou Rhodes and Lisa Knapp this is a unique opportunity to let some of the finest female voices in this country take you on an exhilarating journey through English music traditions both past and present."

Just been listening to the new Cinematic Orchestra cd recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall, really stunning stuff and, at the risk of sounding like a stuck record, Lou Rhodes' vocal really stands out. The track 'Time & Space' is heartbreakingly beautiful stuff.
