One Green Man (adult) ticket for sale, first timer & going alone, any advice?
Aug 05, 2008, 14:45
A friend of mine dropped out at the last minute and left me with the ticket to sell. If it helps at all I'm from Southampton. Would like to sell the ticket for £105 but am open to agreement.

Consequently, I will be going alone. I'm fine with this, although this will be my first 'proper' festival so I have no idea what to expect. Are people quite friendly and will they mind someone tagging along? Also what's the safety like? re being a lone girl and possessions.

Hello Liquorice
It is a friendly festival - at least, that was my experience last year. Everybody seemed really chilled and relaxed, except when Battles played in the Folkey Dolkey!
We're travelling up as a small group this year and if you bump into us you will find us very friendly.

Hi
My son is thinking about going so I may be interested in the ticket.
The mob on the unofficial board are a friendly lot and I think they are arranging a meet up.
That may be a start for you

How much would you be willing to pay and would we meet at the fest to sort out the bits and pieces?

I've been to Greenman for the last two years with friends and had a great time. Don't know anyone who's going this year but i'm going alone anyway as I don't want to miss out. I'd rather go alone and see loads of great bands, enjoy the atmosphere and countryside than not go at all! I look forward to the festival every year now so i'm just going for it!
