There is a 1 day festival on the 2nd of August in Manchester called a day at the races--artists performing include Jeffrey Lewis/four tet/adem/los campesinos/nina nastasia/calvin johnson /johnny foreigner and many more-seems good value for £23 and should appeal to green man fans.
Also on the 24th of July in Manchester Daniel Johnston is performing with a backing band including Mark Linkous[Sparklehose]Scout Niblett and others.
