Amplified Music near Campfire

Was a shame about the amplified music so close to the main campfire.... Would have been nice to have a chance to make our own sounds later into the night. This was my first year so i'm not sure about previous layouts but friends said the rumpus tent used to be elsewhere and the vibe at the campfire was more fun.
Amazing festival in all other ways though.... Almost had a little TOO much fun! xxx

Agreed - I'd like to see the fire in a quieter spot next year.

I didn't stop for long at the campfire, but on my short frequent visits there it looked like a really cool, relaxed place to be at ALL times of the day. And I loved watching the next nights fire being constructed by the Fire Advisors.

Yes I agree, I was looking forward to communal campfires and singalongs. But it's little wonder musicians were headig off to bed to wake everybody else up when the fires next to the disco. I ended up going to bed relatively early every night in lack of hope for psychadelic dances or knees up jamming.
