Should I take this personally?
Apr 01, 2008, 12:54
I tried to buy my tickets online this morning, and every single payment method I tried was declined. I re-checked addresses, card details, everything.

Now... there are times when my bank account looks slightly suspect, but today wasn't one of them. Perhaps they just didn't want my money?...

I had to use one of those new-fangled telephone thingies to book tickets in the end. Ticketline UK were very happy to take my money.

So, should I take this personally? Is this the Green Man's way of telling me that my name's not on his list?

So it seems I shouldn't take it personally. Each declined transaction was actually processed, so it seems that the Green Man people liked me so much they wanted me to come five times over... I seem to have bought 10 tickets. It was a server problem apparently.

Now I am keen to come... but not THAT keen.

If you need to sell some tickets on I will buy 4 from you. I will be booking tomorrow anyway.

Hmm I seem to be having the same problem with my card being declined for no reason. Luckily I'd already read this post so have e-mailed simbiotic to check before I try re-ordering. Anybody else having problems?

Why not pay a friend or family member the money for the tickets and have them buy yours with their card?

Of course - the tickets may be delivered to their address, but you can collect them later I suppose.
