1 day to go Green Man Festival Site Update

Sorry we didn't get back to you yesterday but it was a busy one.
All the traders arrived so the food stalls are all being set up. Think of us over the next 24 hours as the smells from the festival traders preparing food make the crew feral.
After 10 days of crew catering we are all pretty desperate to get stuck into the festival cuisine. This year there is a smokery offering smoked meats, paella, pasta, Mexican, Thai, Goan Curry's, French sausage and potato's in cheese sauces, Thali's, Cakes, locally produced ice-cream, juice stalls and of course pie stalls, as well as many others. Most of them open tomorrow so we are counting the hours.
Stage technical is being installed and the first sound check will be tomorrow morning.
Data Dave is doing the external sound measurements.
The festival site is pretty much built now.
All the flags are up in the walled garden and the signs are in front of the entertainment areas.
You can see the different colored circus tents between the trees and flowers, and now the traders are here its very busy on site.
The micro climate in the Usk Valley has meant that most of the wet weather yesterday passed us by which was lucky.
The bigger crew teams are arriving such as the stewards from the charity People and Planet, and the rest of the security teams. They will go through their training briefs today.
Box office crews have arrived and are setting up the entrance areas.
Green Man shop and info point is being decorated, Polly who runs it wants me to remind you that the shop is next to the main stage bar in the Amphitheater, and lost property is held there until Monday morning when it is moved to the CND lock-up in the camping field.
We are on schedule.
