excuse the 'off-topic' nature of this post, but I thought it might be of interest, seeing as it is a similar kind of event (only quite a bit smaller - 200 capacity)...info as follows:

An eclectic mix of new folk, old folk and folk-inspired pop music, ranging from the political stance of Paul Simmonds to the deranged charm of loop-meister David Thomas Broughton to the beautiful balladry of James Yorkston and HMS Ginafore...

Marvellous that, right on my doorstep & we are camping in Snowdonia for the weekend. :-(

Some good acts in a nice little venue. Can particularly recommend Neil McSweeney.

Anybody going along to this could think about prolonging their stay until Tue 27th, when my lot are headlining The Grapes, about 5 mins walk away! ;-)
